Our Mission - to be the Number One Hotel in Southport for: Accommodation, Conference & Banqueting, History, Location and General Information

The hotel's history and location and general information are set out on the other sections of this web site and we invite you to check these. We are one of the largest hotels in Southport, located in the very centre of a beautiful seaside resort.

Around 80,000 people live here, while we attract around 3 million visitors each year. To operate the hotel we employ around 110 staff members. A limited amount of Live In facilities are available on a short-term basis only.

In addition the hotel has an associate company Mellors Catering Services. This company is based in the same location and provides contract catering hospitality services at over 70 locations throughout the North England, employing a further 300 people.
Both companies are accredited Investors in People employers, and offer On the job and Off site training including NVQ and management training.

• We have regular opportunities for colleagues with hospitality qualifications and experience, also many people do not realise how quickly, keen and industrious people can now progress with us, especially with additional and appropriate training. High qualifications may not always be necessary.
