The 146th Open Championship

Venue: Royal Birkdale Golf Club

Some of the finest links courses in England are situation on the beautiful coastal resort of Southport. It is also the home of The Open Championship this summer, which will be held at the picturesque Royal Birkdale Course. The history behind the event dates back to 1860 and is now regarded as the oldest and most international championship in professional golf. For many golfers, this is quite simply, the best of all the great golf courses to have staged The Open Championship.

The Hairy Maclary & Friends Show
